goldenpages.ie has today begun a search for one lucky couple who will have the chance to win a wedding worth €30,000!

Couples hoping to get married this year can enter the interactive competition on goldenpages.ie by creating a profile on the site, which is linked to Facebook and Twitter. The top 20 couples who have accumulated the most votes will go through to the semi-final from which 3 will enter the Grand Finale where one lucky couple will be crowned the winner. The winning couple will receive a “Gold Wedding” worth €30,000 from goldenpages.ie on two conditions:

(1) they must get married on Saturday, 10th September this year and

(2) they must accept a second “mystery condition”, which will be revealed once the winning couple is announced.

Anyone who has ever organised a wedding knows that many financial resources are needed to make sure the couple experiences the best day of their lives. Now, thanks to goldenpages.ie one lucky couple will receive the money needed for an amazing wedding. Starting today, Monday  18^th April, aspiring couples will be able to register their profiles on the goldenpages.ie website.They can then invite friends and family to vote them into the semifinal stage. Voters simply go to goldenpages.ie, click into the Gold Wedding Competition, find the couple they want to vote for and cast their vote!

The chosen couple will receive the prize of a wedding worth €30,000, provided they marry on 10th September 2011 and that they accept one further condition, only to be revealed when the winning “Golden Couple” is announced. This will take place during a special online report and a 2-minute televised report on TV3 on Wednesday May 4th.

Registrations are open from Monday 18th April up to Friday 29th of April.
